Job Location: Wapakoneta, Ohio

Job Description

• Assist Technicians and Clients with higher-level issues
• Stay on top of current technical issues and new technology
• Take “hand-up” calls
• Monitor open tickets and e-mail requests
• Implementation and design of network layers two and three
• Update department documentation as needed
• Perform Network Monitoring, Notification and Troubleshooting
• Assist in LAN Operation

Job Requirements

• Must be familiar with layer 2 Ethernet and layer 3 routing
• Knowledge of Cisco, OSPF and BGPa plus
• Must have experience with managed routers and switches
• Must be a self-starter and willing to learn new technologies
• Must have the ability to think logically
• Must have the ability to work independently
• Must be comfortable in a team environment
• Must be reliable
• Must have excellent communication skills

Position Specifics

• Monday through Friday
• Base hours 8 am to 5 pm
• Salary commensurate to experience
